As previously reported, a judge recently dismissed most of the lawsuit against Steven Tyler's attorney, Dina LaPolt, that alleged she cost Tyler a $6 to $8 million pay raise in 2011 in his contract for another season with "American Idol".
Tyler announced his departure from "Idol" in July 2012 after serving as a judge for two seasons on the hit Fox program. The AEROSMITH frontman explained that he wanted to refocus on his music career.
"Music From Another Dimension!", the 15th studio album and the first studio collection of all-new material in 11 years from AEROSMITH sold 63,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 5 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD arrived in stores on November 6 via Columbia Records.
"Music From Another Dimension!" was recorded in Los Angeles and at the band's studio in Massachusetts; it was produced by Jack Douglas, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, with the exception of three tracks produced by Tyler and Marti Frederiksen.
